Democratic Governors collapsing?

It is well known that Jon Corzine's numbers are collapsing in New Jersey. But that's not the only state.

For example, look Governor Deval Patrick in Massachussets, as tested by SurveyUSA. He has 28% approve and 68% disapprove. This is flat across region. Even Dems net out at -11, with 42%-53%.

Now look at this poll out of Michigan, H/T Race42008's Kavon Nikrad. Any credible Republican beats the sitting Lt. Gov.

I haven't surveyed all the states, but it feels like someting is happening.

Not a phenomenon restricted to Democrats. See Rick Perry in Texas, Jim Gibbons in Nevada, and the most hilarious match-up I can think of:

Californians hold a mixed view of Sen. Barbara Boxer, but she would easily defeat Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger or other potential challengers if the 2010 election were held today, a new poll found.

I lived there during the earliest part of his involvement in NJ politics and I think people are starting to get tired of him (and politicians in general).

That said, a friend up there warned me he hasn't started campaigning yet, and he has millions at his disposal, so I wouldn't get my hopes up over this. I think (hope) Dodd will be the major Dem to fall

As far as those ballot initiatives were concerned, California just held the biggest Tea Party ever. The only thing missing now is a real Republican to take the governor's chair.
It always amazes me when the people start speaking with one voice how many of our political leaders, left and right, chose not to listen.

If nothing is done about the problem, I plan to go away for good. There's no reason to tolerate accounts doing this, and tolerating them for the sake of seeming to have a more-active blog is dishonest. And boring. Kinda like the past right has been. When, in the future, you wonder "why are we still losing," remember this comment.

I've already proposed a solution, but (perhaps instinctively) nobody listened and/or replied. Shockingly enough, the problem is still happening now that you've done absolutely nothing about it. Sigh. I can help with lots of problems, but not with stupid.
