An electorally successful GOP politician in OH
Except for his 2006 OH gov. loss (which no Republican survived), he has a knack of winning elections since the 1970s (Cincinnati councilman, Cincy mayor, Ohio SoS and Treasurer). This puts him as one of the successful black GOP politicians in the country. Won more elections in the Midwest than Obama. The path to recovery starts in Ohio.
Go away, Kenny..
There is a reason his political career in Ohio is toast. He talks big and can deliver nothing (except fees increases on new business owners and a budget in the sec of state's office that doubled on his watch). Is Kenny a fiscal conservaitve we can believe in? Sure. Right up there with FDR.
Look at his three greatest failures: a) an abysmal race for governor in 06; b) his failed attempt to put a tax and spending limit issue on the statewide ballot; and c) Ken's failure to repleal a state sales tax increase because under his "management" his people coundn't even figure out how to collect the right amount of signatures. And now he wants to run the RNC?
This is a guy desperately looking to be relevant and to find gainful employment for his rag tag bunch of hangers on. Is that enough to give him this job? God save us all.
