Stop being Dumbkopfs
We've seen an awful lot of time devoted by conservative commentators about who is a Nazi, who used the Nazi symbols first, and what political movement resembles the Nazis.
Stop. It's a waste of time. (this is directed at you, Rush)
What the Left is successfully doing is starting up a political sideshow that our camp feels compelled to address, and then retreating into the swamp knowing our forces will get tied down in an indecisive quagmire far from the main field of battle.
Don;t make a big deal about every stupid LaRouche poster or insane Nancy Pelosi remark. Invoke Godwin';s Law and move on.
Say whatever about Sarah Palin, but at least she had the good political judgment in railing against the "death panels" to address a legitimate concern in the bill itself, not get into a useless dialogue about a dead dictator.
In any event, if conservatives must raise the specter of what socialism in practice is like, might I suggest there are plenty of fine examples from nice, friendly regimes who were American allies. I suspect the Democratic party and their SEIU muscle would be quite happy with the "Old Labour" government of the UK pre Maggie Thatcher. I suspect most Americans would be quite appalled to be governed that way.
Better yet. Stick to the bill. Stick to Obama's rationale. We have a limited amount of airtime (only three hours a day. Mr. Limbaugh) and bandwidth to use in opposition. We'd better start using it wisely.

This is rich
Some who says "stick to the bill" and "railing against death panels is good political judgement" in the same piece.
Just a few days ago you were saying how great the mob thing was! Funny thing about mobs - they do tend to get out of hand.
I also said we had to watch for the Mobys
Most aren't quite as pleasant as you are BTW , I'll pay attention to Gallup on the net effect and law professors on the "death panel" issue.
You ignore the real death panels while worrying
You ignore the real death panels while worrying about the imaginary ones. The real death panels - known as cost control departments within the industry - happily deprive sick people of their health insurance as soon as they get sick.
Please do report back on all the law professors who have sussed the death panel issue.
ok
Who can I sue if the public option denied care.? Sovereign immunity sorts leaves me worse off than against a private actor worried about suits and bad PR
Four points
Four points
1) The bullshit denials are driven by the profit motive - remove that and the bullshit denials go away.
2) How valuable is the ability to sue a private insurer for denying coverage after the person in question has died because he couldn't get the chemo, the dialysis, the transplant he needed to live?
3) Assuming the patient survives, how valuable is this "ability" given that the patient had to bankrupt himself to pay for the care that the insurance company should have covered? He can probably just about afford someone who finished behind Orly Taitz at an on-line law school (and only that by putting it on a credit card); meanwhile, the insurance company employs an army of lawyers who over the years have developed an armory of delaying and harassing techniques designed specifically for cases like this.
and, finally, if you aren't convinced by 1 through 3:
4) You keep your private health insurance and this (theoretically) valuable ability to sue them. But my kids and grandkids need the public option.
Was Walter Reed about profits?
If you think bureaucrats aren't capable of "bullshit denials' to appease their superiors and meet a budget target, then you are either clueless about bureaucracies or naive beyond redemption.
Actually, as a practicing attorney I've seen both private insurers and public institutions deny meritorious claims. The private carriers has less tolerance for pain meted out by tribunals, however. The public sector (or private entities who think they are "public") are the ultimate "deep pockets" willing to litigate lost causes for years.
Walter Reed? Seriously??
Walter Reed? Seriously? That is almost as baseless as your "death panels" BS. You know full well that no one is talking about the government setting up and running a chain of hospitals for civilians. However, for the record: no one had to sue anyone to get that situation resolved - within days of the story breaking Gates was in there kicking ass. None of your parasitic brethren required.
Partial Credit
Shhh... Don't tell Jabba the Rush to stop labeling his enemies Nazi's. Now you see why Rahm Emanual wanted to make Limbaugh the face of the Republican party? Lol.
I will give you partial credit for recognizing how ridiculous Rush sounds when he goes around calling everyone he hates a Nazi. But you're completely oblivious to how idiotic Palin sounds with her death panel smears. It might seem like a great new red herring to throw around at first, but she will soon find that it's just another reason for non-wingnuts to goof on her. Like when she claimed foriegn policy credentials due to Alaska's proximity to Russia.
Anyway it's a win/win from my perspective. Limbaugh won't stop. He's been using the "feminazi" term for years. And Palin's too dumb to know the difference.
