Lame Keith Olbermann alma mater chokes in national final!

'Cuse stuns Cornell for 2nd straight lacrosse title

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Cody Jamieson scored his second goal of the game just 80 seconds into overtime as Syracuse rallied from a three-goal deficit in the final 3:37 of regulation to beat Cornell 10-9 on Monday and win its second straight NCAA lacrosse championship

The Big Red took a 9-6 lead with 5:31 left in the fourth before the Orange came back to win their unprecedented 11th college lacrosse title.

Two questions, Keith:

a) Are you going to declare your lax coach the "worst person in the world" for letting his team give up four unanswered goals in a national title game?

b) Did they teach the Heimlich Maneuver at the Ag school when you were there?

Screw the Ivies! Let's Go Orange

Don't forget, it's Ann Coulter's

alma mater as well.  Maybe her next book can be called "Gutless: How Non-Existent Defense and Liberal Guilt Kept Cornell From the Title."

Heh!

I'm really not a Coulter fan either. She's bright enough, but the 'tude needs to be dialed waaay back.

bright enough?

Coulter claims that "There's no physical evidence for [evolution]", and insists in her 2006 book Godless that there is "no proof in the scientist's laboratory or the fossil record."

Don't you think Ann Coulter had to pass various scientific courses to graduate Cornell? What about Ivy League educated conservative radio host Dr. Laura Schlessinger who's main degrees are in biology, science, and physiology that think the evolutionist theories are crap? Is she just crazy? Not qualified enough?

Olbermann didn't go to cornell...

How to be a 'real' fraud: Just ask Coulter

It may seem cruel to reveal the true college of someone who already wakes up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat worried that he's a fraud. But I believe that by pointing out that Olbermann actually is a fraud, I am liberating him.

You may not realize it now, Keith, but you will look back on this day and say, "That was the best thing that ever happened to me!"

Finally, you can stop pretending that you went to the hard-to-get-into Cornell.

Coulter attended the real Cornell? Sigh... I can feel the value of each Cornell diploma shrinking with every day Ann Coulter remains outside of a coma. :( I am glad that pompous Olbermann need not have to 'actually' appeal to Coulter's sense of authority.

It would be really interesting to get inside Coulter's head. It would be disgusting, too, but if I can gleefully prod around a fish's half-digested stomach contents I can probably tolerate this. Is she so ignorant that she believes what she writes? If so, which mental illness does she have? Maybe instead she is just an unscrupulous businesswoman who has figured out that there is a LOT of money in intellectually (and otherwise) whoring herself to the far right. I have even wondered if she's a liberal trying to embarrass the far right, like Stephen Colbert but she is the only one in on the joke and she'll write a tell-all from her death bed.

I wonder what her new book will be called.

Perhaps "The moon is made of cheese also!" She will condemn liberals for suggesting that a cow did not jump over it.

I happened to read all of the science-related (that's applying the term "related" very generously) stuff in Ann Coulter's awful, ghastly, ignorant book, Godless,  and it's a bit overwhelming. This far right-wing political pundit with no knowledge of science at all has written a lengthy tract that is wall-to-wall error (one very broad claim that Coulter has made repeatedly, and that is also common to many creationists is that "there is no evidence for evolution") : To cover it all would require a sentence-by-sentence dissection that would generate another book, ten times longer than Coulter's, all merely to point out that her book is pure garbage. No one would be interested in writing such a lengthy rebuttal, and I'm sure that's exactly what Coulter counts on--tell enough lazy lies, and no one in the world will have time enough to correct them conscientiously. She's a shameless fraud.

my we have gluttons for punishment here.

I must admit that Coulter is "bright" in that she can usually write 500 words on topics she understands that make sense once you do snark removal. I would never try and dig through one of her recent books since it's too much heavy lifting to do constant mental snark removal in a long document. You mean you guys did--or is some lefty think tank passing along Cliff Notes on her?

Her impeachment book was well researched but her ultimate strategy misguided, There were never 67 senate votes for ousting Bubba on this sorta stuff and had there been those votes, we'd have had 9 1/2 years of Al Gore in the White House.

I found the evolution thing amusing. Typical Cornell grad.  Ann Coulter --a lawyer pretending to know genetics. It's as bad as Olbermann, a loudmouth washed up sports announcer screaming about statecraft.

One advantage to getting a 'Cuse degree is we are taught to offer opinions on stuff we might actually know something about. It's those haughty beautiful Ivy leaguers who are experts in everything.

Right, a Cornell eductated

Right, a Cornell eductated creationist who doesn't have a degree in genetics can make utterly ignorant arguments about  evolution and yet be as bright  as a flat-earther who doesn't happen to have a Phd. in 3D Geometry.

Or, she could possibly be smarter than an average Cornell grad, which would easily make her an exceptional fraud.
