Is 48 the McCain number? Really!?! wow... I would say that Obama is roadkill if McCain is ahead now. You still have the factor that a lot of undecideds are simply refuse-to-answer McCain voters, aka Bradley effect.  The only time I've gotten worried about polls is when Obama is above 50%, and I bet the only time the obama campaign is comfortable is when they are polling there too.

I believe this is one election where all polls should be taken with grain of salt and to heed the adage that the only poll that counts is on election day.
