The American Medical Association supports only its own political agenda and not its member doctors, according to some physicians. Many will not even join this once prestigious organization, citing concerns that it no longer reflects their opinions or their concerns for their patients. The AMA came out in favor of the 1.8 TRILLION dollar health care debacle. Putting the LIE to that is the report that 45% of physicians would consider quitting the profession if the bill passes. 65% of practicing doctors are fully opposed to government controlled health care. Only about 18% of physicians are represented by the AMA. That other GREAT SELLOUT is the AARP, another politically motivated Kool-Aid outfit interested ONLY in its own profit margin, who stopped speaking for the vast numbers of seniors a long time ago. Many seniors, always conscious of dollar concerns, have signed up for the AARP to take advantage of supplemental insurance discounts and until recently were largely unaware of the AARP’s extreme liberal proclivities. This all changed with the Obama administration’s drive for for a single payer health care system, which even the thickest senior could tell was BAD news for senior health care and in fact they were about to be thrown under the proverbial Obama Bus…sort of like he did to his Granny? I witnessed an AARP meeting in Fremont, California, where the AARP, attempting to answer the tens of thousands of angry calls and letters directed at them by members who objected to the AARP’s stated intent to support the massive government takeover, asked some very pointed questions of the AARP spinette, whereupon she promptly snitted up and abruptly walked out of the meeting. The AARP subsequently came out with a statement saying they were ‘rethinking’ their support…Well girls and boys, we can see how they rethunk it. Meanwhile in Washington, a little group of  FIFTY THOUSAND of our friends and neighbors gathered on the capitol steps in response to Rep. Michelle Bachmann’s call to action on Friday last. They then proceeded to the Capitol office buildings to have a little tête à tête with their Representatives about just who the hell they work for and just exactly what was expected of them. All very respectfully you understand..though some of our most liberal Congress Critters didn’t reciprocate and either hid or actually abused some constituents. I guess they didn’t care to be confronted with the truth of the fact that they have been exposed for what and who they are. There will be a HUGE reckoning in 2010. The whole country is steaming and they are so insular and so blinded by their own ambition they can’t see it. Nancy with the Flash Frozen Smile lied again and then reneged on her pledge to allow members of Congress and the public 72 hours to examine the final version of the bill. What a surprise! I’m shocked. Speaker Pelosi intends to go ahead with a sneak vote on Saturday despite sharply deteriorating support in her own party. Many Conservative patriots are staying in Washington to keep up the pressure on members of Congress. Another call was put out by Rep. Bachmann on Mark Levin’s radio show on Thursday, for anyone who is in range and can possibly reach DC in time to come to the Capitol to support this totally grass roots Conservative Patriotic effort. Mark Levin was at the rally in person and his presence was HUGE. God bless America…

A number of liberal Democrats today are celebrating Democrat Bill Owens' victory over Conservative Doug Hoffman, but these liberals fail to realize that Conservatives are celebrating too. As Barack Obama meddled in local politics across the nation and poured money into obscure districts, Conservatives built upon the resolve that led to the first Tea Party and culminated last night in a lion's roar directed at the GOP party elite. From RedState emphasis mine:

“First, the GOP now must recognize it will either lose without conservatives or will win with conservatives. In 2008, many conservatives sat home instead of voting for John McCain. Now, in NY-23, conservatives rallied and destroyed the Republican candidate the establishment chose.“

Tea Party patriots are tired of Republicans treating them like children at the kids table. Tired of the “there, there” comments as average Americans question their compromises and suspect partnerships. When Republicans cross the aisle and double cross their constituents on Cap and Trade or health care, regular Americans are expected to tend to their families, pay their taxes and take no notice.

However, that simmering resistance reached a boiling point as Republicans used an old “business as usual trick.”

“Meanwhile, the Republicans keep running 'moderates' who prove to be very useful to the Democrats… which keeps the growth of the State bubbling along at Bush levels. The radical nature of the current Administration makes the idea of 'moderate' compromise laughable. What’s the moderate position on freedom-crushing trillion-dollar health care and environmentalist legislation? They’re okay, as long as the Democrats pinky-swear to keep the cost under $800 billion? That’s the kind of promise no politician could keep, even if it was made in earnest. A moderate Republican is someone who lives in a state of perpetual surprise as he ponders the monthly bills for nanny-state government. What’s the point of electing people who are guaranteed to spend the rest of their political careers complaining about how they’ve been played for fools?”

 

Last night's victory in NY 23 may be sweet for some Democrats, but Obama is not savoring this victory. Exit polling reveal that most voters who rejected local Democrats still supported the president. How much of that support lies in the administration's strong arm tactics? The White House quickly moves with ACORN-like speed to silence its opponents with cries of racism or extremist labels. On the other side of the spectrum, the White House has used the Treasury Department to buy and to maintain support at the local level.

In New York this arrangement was almost executed flawlessly. With Republicans backing the “white friend” of ACORN's Bertha Lewis and big labor/SEIU backing Owens, Obama and the Democrats were guaranteed a friendly vote and if Scozzafava won, they could tout the unprecedented levels of bipartisanship in the age of Obama. In a bold move to continue the consolidation of power by radical Leftists, Obama invested a billion dollars into one Congressional district and ensured that the seat would become available this year.

Doug Hoffman's candidacy was much bigger than him. It signaled the reemergence of the American citizen as “the ruler of the roost” and both parties have taken notice. Some career politicians find the notion of having to answer to “the people” galling, and continue to undermine the will of the people. However, politicians like representatives Steve King of Iowa, Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and of course, Sarah Palin, are continuing to shake up Washington.

The era of change has arrived and it appears that opportunistic politicians are the first thing to go:

“Change is not an open ended mandate or a blank check. Change is a warning to either perform or meet the same fate as the last incumbent. And while Obama was clutching the keys to the kingdom in his dirty little hands, flying endlessly around the world, taking Air Force One on dates and primping and posing for magazine covers; ordinary Americans were losing jobs, families were cutting back, credit card bills piled up, vacations vanished and people came to work every day not knowing if it would be their last. Tonight was a major warning sign to Obama that these Two Americas cannot co-exist forever. And sooner or later Americans will want their White House back from its current lazy and debauched tenants.”

The Obama administration is scrambling to get the word out to its lapdog press and political smarm operators that it’s just a midterm and it doesn’t really mean that much…after His Arrogance crossed back and forth across both states enough times to give himself a teleprompter crick in his lying neck. The Marxispin band-aid crew is out in force, trying out spin after spin to try to keep this from looking like the ass-kicking it was. Virginia and New Jersey are firmly in Republican hands…and by large margins. The Democrats have been more tone deaf than the leadership of the Republican party, if that’s possible. AND that’s hard to do…must have been all those locked doors and overnight how-to-screw-the-electorate  and what-can-we-do-to-fool-them-today meetings. They’ve been buried in letters, phone calls and emails, with concerned voters visiting representatives’ district offices to voice their concerns over what they saw as a monumentally destructive policy in the form of this health care bill….and they didn’t listen. The leftist liberal OBSESSION to control every single aspect of every American’s life has completely blinded them to the groundswell building out in the electorate. In the 23rd District NewYork race Hoffman, completely unknown until thirty days ago, ran a heck of a race and gave the Democrats a near coronary but lost in a narrow decision…but it changes nothing. This is a harbinger of very tough times for Obama and the Democrats. “We have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with terrible purpose”. Admiral Yamamoto after Pearl Harbor. Americans, as much as the Obama-world view would try to have you think otherwise, are more fair-minded than any other people in the world. We are also very quick to react to those who are not and who offend that innate sense of fair play. A lot of this has come into play here. Obama was elected on a raft of promises and make-believe centrism, then immediately turned hard left and he didn’t walk, he didn’t even trot (although he prances a lot), he ran as fast as he could to create the most extreme radical agenda AGAINST this country in its history. This hasn’t been lost on the American people…they are afraid and they are mad. The Conservative march to regain the country, its legislature, its laws and Constitution has begun. God Bless this Great Country and its indomitable people.

“These are the times that try men’s souls”. Thomas Paine wrote that during the year 1776, while our fledgling  nation was in the throes of armed revolution against the greatest military machine in the world. If Vegas had been around back then, the odds would have been astronomically against that we would survive being crushed inside a year. It was a minor miracle that we had survived the “battles” of Lexington and Concord on April 19th 1775. We had no standing army or navy. Our militias were ragtag groups of farmers and shopkeepers. There is another document authored by Thomas Jefferson and published on July 4, 1776. It begins, “When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected to them to another”. The ‘healthcare monstrosity’ of 1990 pages will have another 800 pages of “managerial” amendments added to it in the dark of night by Pelosi’s GOON squad. They will attempt a vote on this indescribable horror. I’m not saying that armed insurrection is our answer, but something certainly has to be done. We don’t need to wait for Friday’s vote for tyranny…we have it right now in the House of Representatives. We have  one party rule enforced by pint-sized Nancy Pelosi, to include having locks changed on chamber doors to keep Republicans from introducing amendments or raising objections to the absolutely illegal and unconstitutional multi-trillion dollar robbery of our freedoms, our independence and our God given heritage. The Obama administration is out to destroy our way of life. Rush Limbaugh said as much in his interview with Chris Wallace broadcast on Sunday AND HE WAS RIGHT! Bill O’Reilly said he thought Rush was wrong that Obama wouldn’t do that for fear that he wouldn’t be re-elected. I’ve got news for you Bill…Rush is right…you are wrong. Obama is an ideologue. Pelosi, Reid and company are only slightly less so…their idea of transformative is along the lines of Pol Pot or Joseph Stalin and let us not forget that great Obama administration icon Mao Tse Tung. They couldn’t care less what the American people think or say…they are going to thug this thing through unless we STOP them… AND WE CAN. Representative Michele Bachmann (R) Minn. has called for citizens from all over America who can reach Washington by Thursday to gather at the capitol steps to rally and then proceed into the congressional office buildings to beard the cowards in their dens. Not with pitchforks  and tar (YET), but with video and cell phone cameras. Any bets the cretins will clear out Wednesday night or hide behind staff and be unavailable? I know of two people from Nancy’s own district who are winging their way east as we speak… Mark Levin has also promised to be there to lend his support. Calls and emails will also undoubtedly inundate the offices of Congress and the Senate and bring down the White House and Capitol switchboards. Given what is happening in Virginia, New York and New Jersey they’d better start listening. They’d also better be damned grateful that we have more respect for the rule of law than they do. For with us, as Conservatives, Independents and many Democrats who are not represented by this bunch, the law is something WE stand by. For those TYRANTS it’s something they hide behind.

Newt Gingrich, who had staunchly defended  Dede Scozzafava’s bid for Representative of New York’s 23rd District, seems to be unaware of  the reality which has been manifesting itself all over the country with regards to the leadership of the the Republican party, which is this: THERE ISN’T ANY. We thought we sent that message loud and clear during the 2008 Presidential race which brought the most destructive Presidency in American history to Washington. We had been jacked around time after time by the same backroom deal makers that had been bringing us big government, big spending Republican ‘progressives’ since after Ronald Reagan departed the scene. The hand writing was pretty clearly on the wall for any who had eyes to see. The cries of disgust were readily apparent for any who had ears to hear. Apparently, most of the party leadership didn’t get the message…the ones who were behind the sleazy attacks on Sarah Palin for instance. She is a dynamic leader-in-waiting who can generate more excitement in one appearance than the entire leadership of the Republican party. Yet we still allow these people to attempt to craft their backroom deals with blinders and earmuffs firmly in place. I say attempt ’cause it ain’t workin’ so good any more. The whole concept of the Rockefeller wing of the party is as dead as two week old mackerel and smells about the same. There are severe doubts as to whether Michael Steele has the STEEL to pull the party together. Mitch McConnell and John Boehner should just bow out and get the hell out of the way of someone who CAN lead and isn’t afraid of an old fashioned street brawl…Mike Pence,  J.D. Hayworth, J.C. Watts and Mark Sanford are some who appear not to be infected with ‘Beltway Fever’ At least to this point they remember who (US) and what ( THE  CONSTITUTION ) they serve. Joe Wilson is another…there are others. We need  people with the courage to call Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their ilk LIARS…for liars they surely are. Dishonest and evil as well. The survival of America as we know it depends on it. We owe it to our children and their children. In a glaring example of just how far out of sync with the mood of the Conservative electorate in this country Michael Steele and folks like Newt Gingrich are, Steele issued a statement lauding Scozzafava for ‘taking one for the team’. All the while, Scozzafava was urging voters to support the Democrat Bill Owens. This is another typical RNC DUHH moment. There are rumors that Newt intends to run for President in 2012. I hope not. As brilliant as his Contract for America was, times have bypassed him and all like him. His sadly mistaken support of Dede Scozzafava proved that. It will be the Conservative movement which will carry the Republican banner forward in 2010 and on to defeat Barack Hussein Obama in 2012. “No pale pastels but BOLD COLORS”.

IF there is an Israeli or a Jew anywhere in the world that believes that Barry HUSSEIN has anything good in mind or heart for them, I have some Madoff investments I’d like to talk to them about. Barack, ever lief to utilize the smarm factor, will use the occasion of the anniversary of the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin on Nov. 4th 1995, to attempt to appeal to the left among the Israeli electorate. In Barry’s warped world driving a wedge into Israel’s resolve is the next best step in his Islamic outreach program. I have real trouble understanding the ‘Peacenik Brigade’ in Israel. Hell, I can barely understand it here in America…I’ve always considered it to be a mental defect of sorts, perhaps a brain lesion or something. One thing I’ve taken note of over the years, is that this is the type of individual who invariably alternately whimpers about civil rights for animals, or global warming, or something that will control other peoples’ freedoms and lives and are usually only willing to sacrifice themselves to the last patriot. These folks will stand by while their betters defend them and then complain about it. I grew up in an old country Italian household. I was the little blue-eyed blond ‘wop’ on the block. There were some kids in the neighborhood that weren’t very nice and sort of hung in a pack. Most of them were bigger than I was. They started by harassing me and then proceeded to beating me up when they could catch me…until one day I’d had enough…I knew how they walked home from school so I hurried to hide behind a hedge where I’d placed a 2×4. When they walked by I took out the last one, then proceeded to knock the biggest one flat and then took out after the others. A funny thing happened…they not only left me alone, they’d go out of their way to avoid me. There’s a parable in there somewhere. The leftists in Israel, as I’ve stated, are a lot harder to figure out. They have evidence of the extreme hatred and violence of virulent anti-semitism all around them…they are under the threat of destruction on a daily basis, yet they will still bow to the seductive siren song of peace now, or even worse, peace for land or some other fanciful promise that would be a tough sell to most kids. Israelis have got to ignore the ‘white noise’ of the Obamas, the UN and the ever deceptive left-leaning press and focus on one fact. Iran wants to destroy Israel at any cost…and they will if given the chance. She must find her own 2×4 and prepare to use it soon.

In Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid’s hallucinatory world, their head long rush to have everything in Marxist heaven in its place…especially the American people, annoying creatures that we are, ISN’T WORKING. Nancy and Harry ideologues, that they are by the nature of what they are, aren’t real deep thinkers. They had this one chance to push this country into Leninist Nirvana, behind wave after wave of Democrat-manufactured crises and engineered  panic, while surfing the historically mesmerizing Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. After the euphoria cleared many of the moon-eyed came back to earth and realized the whole game was rigged and Camelot was in fact a massive shell game. Then something changed…something happened along the way. A few conservative Republicans found their testicular fortitude and said, ‘hey wait, let’s  just slow down and read this thing’. Of course, they had just finished having a 700 billion dollar enema rammed up them by George Bush, who was putting aside his ‘conservative principles’ to save (Wall Street) “the economy” from a disaster which Ralph Nader for one had predicted eight years before…and I’m no fan of Nader. In fairness to former President Bush, he too had tried repeatedly, along with other Republican leaders, to have Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac scrutinized and their freewheeling practices regulated. They were stonewalled in these attempts time after time by such fiscal stalwarts as  Chris Dodd, John ‘Swiftboat’ Kerry, Barack Hussein Obama, Spencer Bachus, Rahm Emanuel, Hillary Clinton and the in-all-ways-deviant Barney Frank. When the predictable result occurred, which some may be led to believe was carefully planned and engineered for precisely this purpose, it became Bush’s issue. Fast forward to Barack Hussein’s love fest Democrat wish-list budget pork feast and the debt had just been tripled. The nation was staggering from the shock of the recession with job losses in the hundreds of thousands. A rate not seen since the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Still…voices began to be heard…the PEOPLE…those insignificant gnats that are always such an annoyance to the Democratic elites and (shame on us) no too few Republicans began to stir…and stir and stir… The resultant Conservative revival began to drag even some of the weak-at-heart Republican ‘centrists’ and moderate Democrats with them when they began to hear the message loud and clear. We’ll see you at the ballot box… What should have been a slam dunk agenda for Obama’s Demarxists has become a quagmire in which nothing gets done and even Democrats can’t agree. Enter the Conservative Patriot Movement… Pelosi-Reed and associates are floundering, changing terms, coming up with fanciful interpretations of what is, or is not, in the UNHEALTHY FOR AMERICA bill. Changing the count and the amount as though it was a 1960’s television game show, which is where they probably belong. But it’s too damn late…the proverbial kittycat is out of the bag. The grassroots movement of Conservative Republicans, Independents and Conservative Democrats is sweeping the national landscape. It has not slowed and in fact just keeps gaining momentum. Hey Nancy…Hey Harry… You can run but you can’t hide!

John Kerry, the oh so pompous…who is seeking some legacy other than the betrayal of his comrades in arms in Viet Nam, has decided to extend his treasonous activities to brand new generations of our servicemen and women. Kerry is despicable. Thank the Lord above that the honorable men of the Swift Boat Veterans had the courage of their convictions and stopped Kerry’s White House aspirations. As it turned out it only deferred us the disaster which is Barack Hussein Obama. Barry and Kerry deserve each other. They share the same yellow streak. Obama’s inability to make a decision to send the resources to Afghanistan that the field commanders in charge have determined are required to accomplish the mission, despite the advice of the finest military minds in the country, is irresponsible and well… it’s cowardly. Every two bit tinhorn  bad guy in the world sees Obama for what he is…weak, ineffectual, indecisive and therefore not to be feared. John Kerry has already proven his yellow creds…his shameless self promotion and the outright prevarication of his service record were and are an embarrassment to the entire officer corps of the US military. Except perhaps a Jack Murtha who gave his honor away long ago. Kerry’s appearance before Congress as a member of the Viet Nam Veterans against the war was a LITANY of untruths created of whole cloth…and an insult to hundreds of thousands of men and women who served during the Viet Nam era faithfully upholding the oaths they swore. Now John Kerry seeks to falsify another  LEGACY on the bodies of our honored dead. Every day that Obama stalls in his decision and every day that the BOMBASTIC Mr Kerry goes in front of the cameras to play out his seditious game at our military’s expense is a day there is American blood on his and  Obama’s hands. Clearly there is gross malfeasance at work in the administration and in the halls of Congress. How long will we allow these truly evil people to play with the lives of those for who they are not fit to carry water? The day of reckoning cannot come soon enough. The ballot box is our recourse…The nearest opportunity is 2010. Let them hear us loudly and clearly.

If you build your house on sand….President Obama is getting some of his karma back. His unmitigated arrogance and self-aggrandizement is going to come at a terrible price to the country…to him and those around him. But they can’t see that yet. Now we even see the First Lady politicizing breast cancer, to advance what is very probably going to be a health care bill which is going to arrive DOA. From my lips to God’s ears. The House bill, should it pass, would cost this country ONE TRILLION DOLLARS and counting. Nothing the government EVER does comes in at anywhere close to the wild imaginings of the authors of these nutzoid  creations. As we speak, there appears to be an insurrection in the House which will stop “Nancy with the Smiling Eyes” bill dead in its tracks. A group of 40 pro-life Democrats has joined with Republicans to pledge to VOTE NO on any bill which has provision for funding for abortions… which it does. This would ensure that the bill in its present form would never leave the House floor. Nothing this President, or the Marxists he’s imported to his government have done, has been with the interest of the American people, the economy, or our military services who are engaged around the world fighting an implacable enemy who would see this country destroyed. It has been done to further an only slightly less onerous ideology, whose goal is control over every aspect of American life and values. The assault by the administration on the first amendment, as exemplified by the attack on Fox News, has been (at long last) met by a unified group of major network editorial chiefs who must have finally woken up and smelled the skunk cabbage that is the Obama White House. They saw, belatedly, but they saw that they would invariably be next. They have drawn a line in the sand. Now we get to see if they have the strength of their convictions. This fight has only just been joined. The White House’s FCC lapdogs are after the freedom of the internet also…resistance is mounting to that assault as we speak. A FREE PRESS IS A FREE SOCIETY… the internet is part of that press, free and unrestrained it is a priceless resource for instantaneous delivery of information. True it is incumbent upon the user to filter through the mists of sometimes wildly inaccurate and fanciful stories that are available out there, but this is freedom of expression and the press also. Keep your hands off our Net. Keep your hands off our radios, keep your hands of of our televisions. The communist leftists cannot compete in the arena of ideas, so they have to co-opt it through stacked courts and regulatory agencies which are not subject to the crucible of public scrutiny, whose examination they cannot withstand. Darkness and secrecy were ever their way. The Free Press and the Free Internet cast a light upon them which shows them for what they are. Enemies of America…and Enemies of the American people.

His Mightiness the Empty Suit, in the getting-dingier-by-the-day White House, is constantly holding forth, sagely saying NOTHING in front of gaggles of “journalists”, who dutifully report NOTHING, while the would be NEO-STAZI in the Suit’s administration attack the only news and information outlets that do say SOMETHING about what the President, the administration and that zany and dysfunctional but extremely dangerous Congress, led by Nancy “Stretch” Pelosi and that ever popular Harry “I ain’t got a prayer of re-election” Reid, are up to. While the people of America continue to suffer the throes of a completely jobless “recovery”, with a recession that shows every indication of being worse despite what all the liberal pitchmen in the administration and the media lapdogs are saying. The FACTS are that there are no jobs and the REASON that there are no jobs is that small business is scared to death. The government has a plethora of more than onerous taxation, regulation and punitive laws waiting in the wings, custom designed to destroy the private sector. Job growth does not come from unionized segments of the society and hasn’t since the days of Henry Ford. Trade unionism is a cancer which can destroy. Trade unionism destroyed Great Britain’s economy and it hasn’t recovered to this day. Unions by their very nature are antithetical to GROWING anything…they produce very little other than protecting their own interests. They have a tendency toward protecting the least well qualified as opposed to the most…the government unions are a prime example. The service and automobile industry unions are others. Meanwhile, the stock market continues to show increases in value. WHAT gives? Simply, they are increasing profit margins by laying people off and consolidating operations. Job growth comes from private business…in the larger context of the economy large business does not create nearly as many jobs as the small business entrepreneur. These jobs are not being created specifically because of the anti-business, anti-American policies of the Obama White House and the Marxist Obama administration and Congress. 500,000 new jobless claims is 500,000 JOBS LOST TO THE OBAMA ECONOMY. He can’t blame the Bush administration for this and hasn’t been able to for six months or more. Suspicious minds would conclude that there are more sinister activities and purposes afoot here than our usually trusting minds can easily wrap themselves around…or want to believe…
