RNC Chairman Poll

Just put up a poll to get a sense of who informed voters would choose if they could vote for the RNC Chairman.

Newt Would Accept RNC Chair

According to the AJC Newt would be willing to accept the chairmanship but supporters will need to let the RNC know that they want him. He is not a member and will need to campaign for the post if he wants it.

(Unscientific poll here.)

Mayor Daley Says Obama and Ayers are Friends

Chicago Tribune confirms Obama and Ayers ARE friends. http://tinyurl.com/6ytz5j D'ya think the MSM will continue to report otherwise?

Obama attended Dem Socialist meeting in 1996

Is this relevant? Obama attended a meeting of the Chicago New Party in 1996. The story is covered at GrizzlyGroundSwell.com with a link to the source document in the Democratic Socialists of America archives. There's a screenshot here should the original become unavailable.

Getting Undecideds to Decide

If this is any example, some undecided voters have yet to grasp the important differences between the presidential candidates. How can that be possible with over eighteen months of campaigning?

Have we heard too much or too little about the candidates? McCain being close to the center from the get-go and Obama making a beeline for it once he secured the nomination might explain the apparent sameness but only up to a point. Maybe voters have yet to be convinced that McCain is a man of action and Obama a man of words. McCain will do things and Obama will dither, consult, talk, consult, dither some more, etc. Then there are the past campaign promises on which McCain has delivered but Obama has been too busy campaigning to address. This is important stuff

Regardless, if this is truly how undecideds feel so close to the election, there is room to make the case if McCain gets a firm grasp of a strategy and goes for broke. That's a big "if" but not yet an "if only." Hopefully, it won't ever come to that.

Are you really better off today than 2 years ago?

Tennessee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, interviewed by Shepard Smith on FOX News  this afternoon, pointed out an opening for Republicans.

Democrats came to power two years ago. Are you really better off today than you were two years ago?

Time to question Obama's foreign donations

Before the next storm hits, this could be a great time to hit the Obama campaign with stories about its questionable foreign donations. Atlas Shrugs has already done the media's homework. How easy can it get?

Future of the Republican Party? Palin!

There is a key difference between the two VP candidates that became more and more obvious as the debate progressed. This is Biden’s last chance but Palin’s first step.

McCain took action. Obama took phone calls. It's that simple.

This has nothing to do with who is right or wrong or who had the best ideas regarding the Wall Street bailout. The events of the last few days just make it more obvious what we can expect from the candidates' different approaches.
